Penumbra: Overture randomly crashes as I am playing, I have come further than the menu and intro sequence.

Penumbra runs as it should after having displayed the menu and the intro/story sequence. But after a few minutes it randomly crashes.

This is either because the computer is running to hot, for some reason Penumbra can make a computer really warm. Only solution is to look over the ventilation of your computer, as in clean the fans from dust etc.

It can also crash with a message like "penumbra.exe caused exception_access_violation in module libvorbis.dll", with certain soundcards the game crashes with this particular version of the libvorbis file. Download this libvorbis file and place it in the redist folder, located in the folder where you originally installed penumbra. Rename the old file first, so that you can restore it just in case. Start the game again and hopefully it won't randomly crash any more.
