Monster/Enemies are really hard, how can I make it easier? |

You can always change the difficulty during the course of a game, to do this go to the Main Menu by pressing escape as you are playing the game. Go to Options and into the Game category, here you can lower the difficulty to easy.
The monsters are made to be really hard in Penumbra: Overture. If you die a lot try a different approach, move slow and crouch, try to hide in the shadows and use the environment and objects in the world to your advantage. The dogs will be attracted to the smell of meat, they will go and investigate noises made by a thrown box and so on. You can also lure them into various traps and throw objects at them to knock them out for a while. If you try and go head to head with them, swinging your tool in a close combat battle, chances are you will die a lot. This is how the game is designed, monsters are dangerous and best left alone. |
